Rates & Accommodations at ADK's Johns Brook Lodge (aka JBL)

Every year many hikers that have wanted to stay at JBL in the bunkrooms have been disappointed by planning too late and finding that it was completely booked since a couple of months ago .  Make your reservation as early as possible.  Several months in advance is not too early.  Reservations are obtained by calling Adirondack Loj which handles reservations for both itself and JBL.

Only those persons staying inside JBL receive meals and trail lunches.  That means that if you rent a lean-to there you must carry in whatever rations you expect you'll need.  No exceptions.  Why, you ask?  Because all the food is carried in on foot by the staff on their backs in individual loads upwards of 60 lbs.

NOTE: Rates and dates vary from year to year.  We recommend that you contact Adirondack Loj by phone just as soon as you know what dates you want .

JBL Full Service (June 29 - September 6)
Full service includes 3 meals per day, served at the lodge.   Guests that are hiking are provided with a bagged trail meal for each day that they hike.)
